    You Need Extended License For:

    Physical products sold to customers (t-shirts, mugs, posters)
    Print-on-demand merchandise
    Printed marketing materials for sale
    Physical packaging for products
    Any tangible item sold to end users

    Standard License is Fine For:

    Websites and web applications
    Mobile and desktop apps
    Digital products and SaaS
    Social media graphics
    Email newsletters
    Digital advertising
    Internal company materials (not for sale)

    Common Scenarios

    "I'm creating t-shirts to sell on Etsy"

    Extended License required. You're selling physical merchandise to customers.

    "I'm building a website for a client"

    Standard License is fine. Digital end product.

    "I'm creating merchandise for my brand"

    Extended License required. Physical products for sale.
